Vinted payout time: Pending to Available to bank (US)
A finished Vinted sale doesn't finish your payout. The order has to complete first — the instant the buyer presses “Everything is OK,” or two days after they receive it in silence — and only then does the payment slide from Pending balance to Available balance within 2 days. Withdrawal is a separate move you trigger yourself, and the bank leg after it runs up to 5 business days. Below, each leg with its rule, its source, and a worked calendar that shows exactly where the weekends bite.
Every timing fact here was re-read on from two Vinted Help Center articles — “Getting paid for a completed sale” (help/235) and “Withdraw your earnings” (help/68) — with fulfillment context from Selling basics (help/26). Scope: US sellers, earnings in USD, withdrawals to US bank accounts. United States, USD. Last updated .
There's no payout stopwatch embedded on this page — arrival dates come from published policy, not estimation — and Feebrief isn't affiliated with Vinted. The wider platform picture, including what buyers see at checkout, sits in our Vinted overview.
Pending balance → Available balance: completion starts everything
Money lands in your Vinted Wallet the moment the sale is paid for, but it arrives tagged Pending, and Pending dollars are locked. The unlock event is order completion, and Vinted's help gives it two triggers, whichever happens first:
- The buyer taps “Everything is OK” in the app — completion is immediate.
- 2 days pass after the buyer receives the order with no confirmation and no problem reported — completion happens automatically.
A reported problem pauses that automatic trigger while the issue is sorted, so a disputed order can hold your payment longer than a quiet one. Once an order completes, “the payment will move from ‘Pending balance’ to ‘Available balance’” — Vinted's wording — and that move happens within 2 days. Only the Available side is withdrawable; as help/68 puts it, “you can only withdraw earnings from completed orders.”
| Stage | What has to happen first | Published window | Help article |
|---|---|---|---|
| Order completes | Buyer taps “Everything is OK,” or 2 days pass after receipt with no confirm and no problem report | Instant, or +2 days | help/235 |
| Pending → Available | The order has completed | Within 2 days | help/235 |
| Bank transfer | You withdraw Available funds | Up to 5 business days | help/68 |
One upstream note so the clocks don't blur together: you generally must ship within 5 business days of the sale or the order can be cancelled and refunded. That window governs fulfillment — it isn't part of the payout math at all.
A Friday delivery on the calendar: two buyers, two timelines
Same package, same seller — only the buyer's behavior changes. Say the parcel lands Friday and the money shows Pending in your Wallet that evening.
The silent buyer. Nothing happens Friday or Saturday. Two days after receipt, the order completes on its own — that's Sunday. The Pending-to-Available move then takes up to 2 days, putting the funds in your Available balance by Tuesday. You withdraw Tuesday; the bank leg runs at most five business days — Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, across the weekend, Monday, Tuesday — so the outside edge is Tuesday of the following week, eleven days after the doorstep.
The buyer who confirms on arrival. “Everything is OK” gets tapped Friday night, so the order completes immediately and the payment should be Available by Sunday. Withdraw Monday morning and the five-business-day ceiling lands at the outside on the following Monday.
The comparison is the useful part: a fast-confirming buyer saves you the front-end days, but the 5-business-day bank leg is the long pole in both timelines. A public holiday in that stretch pushes the outside edge further still, since business days exclude weekends and holidays.
Cashing out: up to 5 business days, a $0.10 floor, USD only
Withdrawal is manual — nothing leaves your Wallet until you ask. The rules as published on help/68, checked :
- Arrival: “it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to arrive in your bank account. Business days are Monday–Friday, not including weekends and public holidays.”
- Minimum: $0.10 — small balances aren't trapped.
- Eligible funds: Available balance only. “Funds that are still in your pending balance can't be withdrawn.”
- Destination: USD to supported US bank accounts, set up with an account number and routing number. Withdrawals in other currencies, or to accounts outside the United States, aren't part of the published flow.
- Verification: an identity check by Vinted's payment provider may pause withdrawals until it clears.
If you'd rather skip the bank leg entirely, there's a built-in shortcut: your Available balance can be used automatically for purchases on Vinted, so money you intend to re-spend never needs to leave.
Instant Pay and withdrawal fees: nothing published to quote
Some marketplaces sell speed — a flat-fee instant cash-out next to a free, slower rail. On Vinted, as of , the withdrawal help article lists no Instant Pay-style option and no withdrawal fee amount. That absence is the whole answer: the cost of withdrawing, if any, is not publicly available on the pages we fetched, and this page won't invent a dollar figure. If another site quotes you a specific Vinted withdrawal or instant-payout fee, look for the Vinted source behind it — we couldn't find one.
What Vinted charges, in one sentence
Sellers pay no selling fees and keep 100% of the item price, while buyers pay the “Vinted fee” — usually 5% + $0.70, with the exact amount varying — and that's deliberately the whole fee discussion here: the longer math lives in Vinted fees explained, the seller-side bottom line in how much Vinted takes, and the zero-commission question in does Vinted charge sellers?
Vinted payout questions, answered
Why does my Vinted balance still say Pending?
Because the order underneath it hasn't completed. Vinted completes an order the moment the buyer presses “Everything is OK,” or two days after the buyer receives the order if they neither confirm nor report a problem. Once completed, the payment moves from Pending balance to Available balance within 2 days. Pending funds can't be withdrawn — only earnings from completed orders can.
Are Vinted's 2-day waits business days or calendar days?
Only the bank leg is explicitly defined: Vinted's withdrawal help says up to 5 business days, with business days meaning Monday–Friday, not including weekends and public holidays. The order-completion window (2 days after the buyer gets the order) and the Pending-to-Available move (within 2 days) are stated as plain days without a business-day qualifier, so don't strip weekends out of those two legs.
What's the smallest amount I can withdraw from Vinted?
$0.10. There's no meaningful floor to clear before cashing out, but the money must already sit in your Available balance — that is, it has to come from a completed order.
Can I send my Vinted payout to a bank outside the US or in another currency?
Not per the published withdrawal flow. As of November 2026, Vinted's help describes withdrawing earnings in USD to supported US bank accounts using an account number and routing number. Other currencies and destinations outside the United States aren't part of that flow.
Does Vinted charge a withdrawal fee or offer an instant payout option?
Nothing is published to quote. As of , Vinted's withdrawal help article lists no Instant Pay-style product and no withdrawal fee amount. Treat any specific dollar figure quoted elsewhere as unverified unless it points to a Vinted page.
What's the longest a Vinted payout can take end to end?
Stack the published ceilings: a silent buyer delays completion by 2 days, the Pending-to-Available move can take up to 2 more, and the bank leg after you withdraw runs up to 5 business days. In an unlucky week with a weekend in the middle, that chain can stretch to roughly ten or eleven days from doorstep to bank — and longer if a public holiday trims the business days. That stacking is ours, assembled from Vinted's three published windows; Vinted itself promises no single end-to-end date.
