Feebrief has no accounts and does not store the numbers you enter. This page explains the analytics, hosting, affiliate, and advertising cookies that may apply when you visit. Effective .
Who we are
Feebrief (“we”, “us”) operates https://feebrief.com, a free calculator that estimates seller fees and take-home pay on resale marketplaces such as eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Whatnot, and Vinted. Feebrief is built and run by Niceday, an independent developer. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, who collects it, and the choices you have.
Effective date: .
1. Information you enter
There are no accounts on Feebrief. You do not need to give us your name, email address, or any other personal details to use the calculator.
Sale prices, shipping amounts, and other values you type into the calculator are processed in your browser. They are not sent to us, and we do not store them on our servers.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site—for example, which pages are viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and the website that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, and the data is processed by Google.
We use this information only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful and what to improve. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Consent in the EU, UK, and Switzerland. We use Google Consent Mode. On every page, analytics and advertising storage start as “denied”, so Google Analytics does not set cookies by default. If you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a short banner at the bottom of the page asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics is only turned on after you choose Accept; if you choose Decline, it stays off. To work out whether the banner applies, your browser makes a request to Cloudflare that returns your country code; we do not store it beyond your browser session. Visitors outside these regions have analytics turned on without a banner.
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key feebrief_ga_consent) so you are not asked on every page. Clearing your browser data removes it. You can also at any time; this turns analytics off, removes Google Analytics cookies on this site, and shows the banner again.
3. Hosting, security, and Cloudflare Web Analytics
Feebrief is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser user agent, and request details.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic figures such as page views and load performance. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-focused and not using cookies to track visitors.
Feebrief does not currently display ads. We have applied to Google AdSense and may show ads served by Google in the future. If and when ads are shown, the following applies:
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info (or, in the EU/UK, Your Online Choices).
We do not work with any other ad networks. If that changes, we will list them on this page with links to their opt-out options.
5. Affiliate links
Some links to crosslisting tools—Vendoo (through the Awin affiliate network), Crosslist, and PrimeLister—are affiliate links. If you click one, the partner or network may set cookies or use similar technologies to attribute a sign-up or purchase to Feebrief, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored".
Affiliate partners do not influence our fee estimates. Once you leave Feebrief, the other site’s own privacy policy applies. Awin’s policy is available at awin.com/us/privacy. See also our Affiliate disclosure.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the opt-out links above. The calculator itself works without cookies.
7. Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers named on this page (Google, Cloudflare, and affiliate networks/partners when you click an affiliate link), which process data under their own terms and policies.
8. Children
Feebrief is a tool for sellers and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will help address it.
9. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live—for example in the European Economic Area or the UK under the GDPR, or in California under the CCPA/CPRA—you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Because Feebrief has no accounts and does not store calculator inputs, we hold very little information that can be linked to you. Most data is processed by the providers listed above, and their tools (such as the Google opt-out links) are often the quickest way to act on it. You can also email us with any privacy request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving the site) and, where required, your consent for analytics and advertising cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change—for example, if ads are turned on or a new provider is added—and revise the effective date above.
