Vinted vs Poshmark fees: which keeps more for sellers?
Fashion and closet sellers often compare Vinted and Poshmark. On Vinted US, sellers keep 100% of the item sale price in our model—buyers pay a separate Vinted fee at checkout (often around 5% + $0.70, but it varies). Poshmark uses a flat $2.95 under $15 and about 20% of listing price at $15+. How it works
- Enter your expected sale price (and buyer-paid shipping if you know it).
- We apply each platform’s published seller-side fee assumptions.
- Compare estimated fees and take-home side by side—then confirm on the platform before you list.
Fee-model angle: Vinted seller platform and payment fees are modeled as zero; do not market the comparison as an unqualified “free marketplace” without disclosing the buyer-paid Vinted fee. Poshmark’s commission is on listing/item price (buyer shipping typically outside that base as modeled). At $15+, Poshmark’s ~20% usually cuts seller net far more than Vinted’s $0 seller fee—but sell-through, shipping UX, and buyer checkout totals differ. Optional Vinted bumping and Poshmark promos are excluded from the default. Confirm on Vinted’s price list / help and Poshmark Fee Policy.

Seller net = sale price − platform fee − payment fee − other deductions. “Included” and “None” count as zero and are not subtracted again.
List once, sell on more marketplaces
You just compared estimated take-home across apps. If you list on more than one marketplace, a crosslisting tool can push the same title, photos, and price so you type less — and can auto-delist when an item sells. Pick a tool only after you’ve chosen where the fee math makes sense.
Disclosure: Feebrief is free. Some outbound links to crosslisting tools are affiliate links — if you sign up or subscribe after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We don’t charge for using this calculator, and we don’t let affiliate partners change the fee estimates.
Is a crosslisting tool worth it?
If you already sell on two or more apps, the time you save retyping listings (and avoiding double-sales with auto-delist) is usually the reason people pay for a crosslister — not because it changes marketplace fees. Fees still come from eBay, Poshmark, and the rest; Feebrief helps you pick where to list, then a crosslister helps you list everywhere faster.
| Vendoo (approx.) | Crosslist (approx.) | |

| Entry monthly plan | From ~$14.99/mo (Starter) | From ~$29.99/mo (Bronze; listing caps by plan) |
| Listing model | Unlimited items on plans we reviewed | New-listing caps on lower plans; higher tiers raise or remove caps |

Frequently asked questions
Do Vinted sellers really pay 0% vs Poshmark’s 20%?
In the US schedules we model, Vinted sellers keep the item price while Poshmark takes ~20% at $15+ (or $2.95 under $15). Buyers on Vinted still pay a mandatory Vinted fee (typically ~5% + $0.70; official copy says it varies). Confirm on both official pages.
Is Feebrief affiliated with Vinted or Poshmark?
No. Independent planning estimate only.
Does shipping count toward seller fees?
It depends on the marketplace. Some fee bases include buyer-paid shipping (and sometimes tax); others charge mainly on the item price. Feebrief follows each platform’s published seller-side rules in our fee file and shows assumptions next to the calculator. Shipping you pay out of pocket to ship the item is generally not modeled as a deduction unless noted.
Why might Feebrief’s number differ from what the app shows at checkout?
Published rates change, and your real deduction can depend on category, seller level, promotions, store subscriptions, promoted listings, tax handling, and order composition. We use simplified seller-side schedules in fees.json with a last-reviewed date. Treat the result as a planning estimate, then verify in the platform before you price or list.
Do these estimates include promotions, ads, or subscription discounts?
Usually no. Unless a note in the breakdown says otherwise, we exclude promoted/boosted listing fees, optional ads, store subscription discounts, one-off penalties, and most promos. If you run ads or pay for a seller subscription, your net can be lower (or occasionally improved by a promo) than the estimate.
